This Privacy Policy explains how Angela Schmitt, using the Go With Angela brand ("Go With Angela," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. Go With Angela is a brand name, not a separate legal entity. This policy applies to gowithangela.com and to personal information Angela receives while responding to inquiries and providing travel advisory services.

Our relationship with Fora

Angela is an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. This website links to a secure inquiry form and other services operated by Fora. Information you enter directly on a Fora website is collected by Fora under its own Privacy Policy and may be made available to Angela so she can respond to your inquiry and provide requested travel services. Angela's business email, client-management tools, booking systems, and client records are provided or managed through Fora, including a Fora-managed Google Workspace account. Angela does not maintain a separate client database outside those systems. This policy describes Angela's practices and does not replace the privacy notices of Fora, travel suppliers, or other third parties.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you email Angela, submit a linked inquiry form, request a proposal, or work with Angela on a trip, you may provide information such as:

your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and preferred contact method;
destinations, travel dates, budget, trip purpose, preferences, and special requests;
the names, ages, dates of birth, and relationships of people traveling with you;
loyalty-program information, travel history, and booking details; and
accessibility, mobility, dietary, health, or other information you choose to share when it is relevant to a travel request.

Booking a trip may require passport or other government-identification details, payment information, emergency contacts, or similar sensitive information. You should provide that information through the secure system designated by Fora or the applicable supplier, not through ordinary email. Customers ordinarily enter payment-card information directly into a Fora or supplier system, and Angela does not independently store that information. In limited situations where a supplier requires Angela to relay payment-card information, she uses it only to complete the authorized request and promptly destroys any temporary written copy after it has been provided to the supplier.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, website and analytics technologies may collect your Internet Protocol address, approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, access times, visit duration, and interactions with links or site features. We do not use this website to collect precise geolocation, create user accounts, or make automated decisions about visitors.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from Fora, travel suppliers, insurers, payment processors, a person organizing travel for you, or another traveler in your party. If you provide information about another person, you should have their permission to do so and make this policy available to them.

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions, including page views and clicks on planning, advisor-profile, hotel, email, and social-media links. Google Analytics may use cookies, including a first-party_ga cookie, and may receive device, browser, approximate-location, and usage information. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, passport details, payment information, or other directly identifying inquiry information to Google Analytics.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics cookies should not prevent you from reading this website or using its links.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Angela does not sell personal information or receive money in exchange for it. This website does not currently use advertising pixels or personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Using a client's stated interests to send a relevant Go With Angela email is first-party marketing, not the kind of cross-site targeted advertising described above. Some privacy laws nevertheless define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough that certain disclosures to analytics providers may be covered even when no money changes hands. Fora, suppliers, and other service providers may retain information under their own policies and applicable tax, accounting, legal, insurance, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping obligations.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No website, email, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use the secure systems designated by Fora or a supplier when submitting passport, payment, or other sensitive details.

Children's information

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. An adult organizing family travel may provide information about children when it is needed for an inquiry or booking. If you believe a child submitted personal information directly without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

International travel and processing
